BT Montrym is a nuanced and incisive nonbinary playwright, screenwriter, actor, and musician who uses metaphor and their particular style of dry humor to address issues audiences didn’t know they were ready to talk about. Past works include a musical adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the plays Her Vanity, Radiant, and Tiny Hoodie, and the darkpop album Chariot. BT also works for EnActe Arts, a Bay Area theatre company with a South Asian focus, as their New Works Program Manager. They like odd cerebral video games, heartbreaking musicals, and the occasional rom-com. BT is a huge fan of pugs. They have a BA degree in Women and Gender Studies from Brandeis University with a minor in Theatre Arts.
