In Seattle, Tristan decides to bring an acquaintance, a painter named Dylan, into the group. The problem? Rachel is prone to angry outbursts and hates change. Nevertheless, they all make it to Texas and decide to help out a hitchhiker named Ayla who needs to get to New York. The problem? Rachel is an Islamophobe, and Ayla is Muslim. When a medical emergency halts the trip, what was meant to be a straightforward journey quickly devolves into a tangled clash about faith, religion, loyalty, and anger.

When Tom Gale is transferred to the small-town police department in Toluca Falls, he resigns himself to a life of missing bicycles and overbearing coworkers. But when a murder rocks the sleepy town, then another, then another, Tom’s life heats up. Sure, it’s him doing the killing, but that doesn’t matter if everyone’s having fun, does it? And the chief of police is desperately searching for the truth. Why do bad things happen to good people? Why did Tom do it? And why have similar murders been happening every thirty years for as long as anyone can remember? While it becomes clearer and clearer that the voices in Tom’s head are more real than anybody thought, Toluca Falls and the people Tom lied to are in for a very rude awakening.

“So, I guess you’re a werewolf now, huh?”, says Red, and things don’t look up for her boyfriend Randolph after that. Well, maybe they do for a little– he feels younger, healthier, more passionate. Sure, he has horrible fits when the moon gets too bright. Sure, he’s still not a father. And the odd power outages leave a lot to be desired. But he’s gotten so strong. So what exactly is the problem? Tiny Hoodie is the family-drama-instigated-by-lycanthrophy that no one knew they needed.
