Chariot, thundering down the way.

Recording? Check. Mixing? Big check. Mastering? It was a joy.

This whole home studio thing has been fulfilling, to say the least.

And now I have an album! It was a different journey than the first one, in a lot of ways. For one, it was a more cohesive process. I planned it as an album rather than a themed collection of music. It’s also somewhat less theatrical in structure than Leave the Light On. I decided to limit/commit myself to the same seven instruments throughout, giving all eleven songs a unified feel, and a listen through the album gives a definite sense of a journey.

Now I’m in the process of distributing, marketing, pulling all the levers and pushing all the buttons. I’m really happy with what Chariot has grown into, and I can’t wait for January to come so you all can be happy with it too!

More to come… for now, I’m going to stare at this album art and… get lost… in the colors… and that delightful demon face.
